J.A.M (J.esus A.nd M.e) is all about the child and Jesus

Christ. Our goal is to teach the children how they can

build a life-long friendship and relationship with Jesus.

Growing a deeper relationship with Jesus means to know

Him better, to love Him and obey Him more.

"Raise this Generation to Save the next Generation"

Our mission is to raise this generation upon the foundation

of Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. To teach our children

their need for salvation and how to reach the next

generation. Proverbs 22:6  "Train up a child in the way he

should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it"

I have been actively involved with Sunday School Ministry

for over 7-8yrs, in Auckland & here in Christchurch.  I love

teaching children about Jesus and especially seeing them

grow in the Lord. As a Sunday School Teacher nothing

excites me more than to see a child grow confident in the

Lord, when the child prays on their own, quoting the word of God by memory, praising & worshiping God freely, encouraging & praying for others. 

 

My name is sister Shayna Walker and I have been in the Sunday school ministry for a little over a year. When I first came in to the Sunday school ministry I was unsure, I felt like i wasnt ready and I was doubting my abilities and talents to do it because of that fear of failing, but the more I gave myself to God and allowed Him to do the work through me, the more I started loving it. The more time, effort, and love I sowed into the children, the more we reaped the blessings of God , then I started to realised that God ordained ME to be in this ministry at this specific time. I thank the Lord for keeping me through out my journey in the Sunday school department over the past year, he has never failed me and he continues to helped me to grow in my relationship with Him and also in my relationship with the children in Sunday school. I have learnt so much being in this department, yet i have so much more to learn. Right now our Sunday school ministry is richly blessed with children willing to learn, lots of useful resources, spiritual growth, Holy Ghost filled children and guests every week! We look forward to a bright future in this ministry as God continues to lead and direct us. He truly has been so amazingly awesome to us. All the glory, honor and praise belongs to Him for all that he has done in and through our ministry.HALLELUJAH THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
